Not at all. While chilled refreshments are our specialty, our burros are versatile pack animals. We can tailor their panniers to carry wedding programs, floral favors, local Montana treats, or even "midnight snacks" as your event transitions into the evening. If it’s small, lightweight, and adds to your guest experience, the burros can likely carry it.

To comply with Montana liquor laws, Montana Beer Burros does not provide or sell alcohol. All beverages—alcoholic or non-alcoholic—must be provided by the client, the venue, or a licensed catering service. We provide the professional transport, the insulated cooling boxes, and the charm.

Each burro is outfitted with custom Sawbuck pack saddles featuring dual insulated boxes. Generally, one burro can comfortably carry approximately 36 canned or bottled beverages at a time. For larger celebrations, we can add a third burros to ensure a seamless flow of service

For the best guest experience and to keep our equipment pristine, we recommend chilled cans or bottled selections. Artisan canned cocktails, local craft brews, and glass-bottled sparkling waters or sodas look beautiful nestled in our insulated ice boxes.

Absolutely. Our "half-pint" hosts are exceptionally gentle, highly trained, and arrive pristinely groomed for every appearance. We take great pride in their presentation, ensuring their pack saddles and floral greenery (if requested) meet the aesthetic of your event. A professional wrangler is with the burros at all times to manage guest interaction and ensure a polished experience.

While our burros are most at home in the beautiful Montana outdoors, they can occasionally transition through certain indoor-outdoor spaces depending on the flooring and venue approval. We are happy to coordinate with your venue manager to discuss the logistics of your specific location.

We are based in Whitefish, Montana, and primarily serve the Flathead Valley. We are happy to discuss travel to surrounding areas for your mountain gathering; additional travel fees may apply based on the distance from our home range.

While they are animals, they are professionally prepared for the occasion. Each burro is equipped with custom-fitted manure bags that are built directly into their harness. This gear is designed to be subtle and effective, ensuring a clean and worry-free experience for you and your guests.
